Uprising Music Group is an independent record label with no genre limits. Whether it's the sounds of Africa, hip-hop, R&B, dancehall, gospel or pop, if the talent is real, there's a home for it here. Our mission is simple: find gifted artists, from rising names to established stars, and build careers that reach the world.
Uprising is a creative network built to discover and develop everyone who makes great music happen! What is Uprising Music Group?
An independent record label with no genre limits, founded in New York City by Edmund Tsai, known as AFRICA. We find gifted artists, develop them, release their music worldwide and license it for film, TV, ads and games.
What kind of music do you put out?
Every genre. The sounds of Africa, hip-hop, R&B, dancehall, gospel, pop and more. If the talent is real, there's a home for it here.
When does Ada by Uong Gold come out?
Ada drops everywhere on November 13. Until November 12 you can get it early for $2 on Bandcamp. After release it's $7 on all major platforms.
I bought Ada. Where is my download?
Bandcamp emails your download link right after purchase, and Ada stays in your Bandcamp collection. Check your spam or promotions folder. If you can't find it, email [email protected] and we'll sort it out.
Who are the Uprisers?
Our fan community. Join free with your email to get new music before anyone else, show and event invites, exclusive drops and behind-the-scenes from every artist on the label. Join the Uprisers. You can unsubscribe anytime.
Can I send you my music?
Yes. Email [email protected] with a short intro and streaming or private links (no attachments). We listen to everything, but we can't reply to every submission. If it's a fit, we'll reach out.
How do I license your music for film, TV, ads or games?
We control our masters and publishing in-house, so licensing takes one conversation and one agreement. Email [email protected] with the project, the track, how it will be used, territory and timeline.
How do I get my event or release featured?
Promoters, labels, A&Rs, DJs, artists, managers, producers, venues and brands can use the submission form. Our team reviews every submission, and if it's a fit we'll share it with the Uprisers and feature it on this page.
How do I book Uong Gold or reach the label?
